Wildlife Images and Videos - No Pets
I don't believe I have seen a thread here about wildlife. There are countless dog or cat threads, but what about animals people don't own.
One thing I have been curious about, what is the biggest wild animal you see regularly? Me, I see kangaroos just about everyday, they eat the grass near where I park my car for work. Is this unusual or do others here see wild animals like deer or bears or wolves or anything bigger than a dog on a regular basis?
Here is a video of some humpback whales taken outside Sydney harbour.

Not animals I've seen where I currently live (I live in a desert, most everything is small and hiding), but animals I've seen while living other places or visiting:
Ptarmigan:
Grizzly (Brown) Bear:
Dragonfly:
The tiniest praying mantis:
The paper-eating deer of Miyajima (yes, they are actually wild):

My brother took this at the Bronx Zoo. They're little mongoose. I love them; it looks like the one is saying to the other, "are you even wistening to me?!"

From a bike ride I did up Cascade River Road. I got heat stroke and took a snow nap about 500 yards away.
(That's a black bear.)3 -

We've been seeing a lot of sandhill cranes around here lately. This is from last summer. They are not particularly afraid of people except at very close range.
