Somewhere over 3,000 and I don't understand this "normal" stuff. A normal day for me includes a bicycle ride. When I have time for a long ride, I may burn more than 4,000 calories.

I run daily, and as a 32 yo 5'1" 104 lbs female I think my TDEE is around 2100 or so.

I walk 4-5 hours every day and 15 minutes sport bike, but I have no idea how many calories I burn.

    About 2700-2800 on a non-workout day (usually still moving some)...3300-4100 on a normally busy day with a workout - about 6 days/week. 54yo male, 5'11", currently 213.

It changes so much from one day to the next. (That's why the TDEE method makes no sense to me.)

Yesterday I burned 1,265 on a long bike ride (hilly 40 mile loop) and got 2,500 steps. Saturday I got about 700 on a hike. Today I'm working and the forecast calls for rain. I'll exercise after work but the numbers will be a lot smaller.

Usually about 600-700 at the gym and another few hundred during the day with steps and working around the house. Wish I could burn 2000/2500.

From 1600 to 3000 depending on how active I am. I'd say 2400 in average (20k steps).

    Female, 39yo, 5'5", 140 lbs.

If I do nothing other than my normal day to day stuff, I burn around 1,700ish, if I go for a longer walk I can burn up to 2,200. But I am on the shorter side, I have an office job, and I am within a normal weight range for my height.

I think they're talking about total burn for the day - so, your exercise PLUS your activity, PLUS the general calories you burn just being alive. At least that's how I interpreted the question. Most people here aren't really burning 2000-3000 calories on exercise every day. :)

2300-2400 on average (averaging out workout days and rest days)

2600 average, found from tracking intake/body weight, not Fitbit numbers. Fitbit doesn't know me.

My non exercise maintenance is around 2400...exercise is variable, but my maintenance overall tends to be anywhere from about 2800-3000. My calorie burns from exercise can vary quite a bit depending on what I'm doing, but everything just averages out in the end...I don't train for a specific calorie burn, so they are just dependent on whatever the protocol is on that particular day.

I just got a Fitbit Charge 2 a few weeks ago so I'm working on figuring that out. Apparently I'm more active than I realized on non-workout days. So far acc. to Fitbit I've been burning 2100-2300 on non-workout days and usually 2200-2500 on workout days. (I'm a 40y/o female, 5'7" and 131 lbs, and now in maintenance.)

    Depends on the day.

It really depends for me. I normally do some sort of exercise every day but if I do not, I am lucky to hit around 1700-1800 calories burned. I am 5'6 1/2" and weigh 159.5 currently. With exercise, my average daily burn is anywhere from 2100-2300. I do burn more on weekends because I am moving around a lot more (work a desk job during week). I rarely see a burn over 2500 calories and when I do, I get excited lol. I have to move literally all day and exercise for an hour or two to see that number though. This is all according to my fitbit as well....

Don't know how many I burn as I have never tried to track that number. But I could work backward to get it, from what I eat and my rate or weight loss. Just not worth the trouble for me.
