Me and my wife are on a strict budget (50.00) for groceries for the week, for the both of us. We need healthy options but,as you can see, we don't have a lot to spend. Any suggestions on what to get first or what is the most important, healthy options?
Thanks

Menu planning is what will keep you in budget. Pinterest is a wonderful resource for recipes.1

Lentils and other dry beans are about $1 USD per bag (I don't know where you live) and have decent protein (lentils have 18 G protein per cup and don't require soaking. One bag makes 2-3 meals with rice and vegetables).1

Shop farmers markets for your produce if you can, you can get great prices ESPECIALLY if you go toward the end of the day.0
