    Thursdays I don't work so I did the usual for my days off:

    I stayed up late last night, slept in late, drank tea in bed, 10 K run. My favourite routine things to do in a day :smile:

    Taking my daughter to lunch. Even though it's totally school sanctioned it always feels like an exciting jailbreak when I snag one of the kids for a lunch out.

    A super hot shower after a way too cold 6.5mile bike ride. (totally caught me off guard how cold it would feel). Now time for some hot tea and food!

    The best part of my day today...

    Is the fact that I get to go home soon. I still have to take my work home with me, and do more work later tonight, but I get to stop off at the pool and watch my girls do their swimming lessons first. I'll be able to get some extra snuggles that I wouldn't normally get on a Wednesday evening (it's their night with their dad), and that makes me happy.

    Sucks it has to be within eyesight/earshot of their dad, but I try to ignore him as much as possible without being rude. hehe
