I am looking to slim down as much as I can in a month and was thinking of lowering my calories and def working out more (focusing on cardio) but how low in calories would be acceptable? also cutting back on starchy foods and carbs, concentrating on eating as clean as possible along with plenty of water intake as I heard these ways would be the best approach to slimming down fairly quick. Just looking for any tips and suggestions to help me with this!

Dropping sugar is a great weightloss suggestion but lowering your calories isnt a good idea, workout, eat good, and also lowering salt levels too....0

Jillian Micheal's 30 Day Shred seems to be a hit and Zumba
As far as cals, don't go below 1200 ... and drink plenty of water.0 -
It's hard to say not knowing how many calories you typically consume. Bottom line is you need to burn 3500 calories to lose 1lb.0

well im set now at 1,460 calories (1lb a wk) I typically have a hard time netting 1,460 as im horrible with eating all my excercise calories and I tend to workout a lot. what if I focus on a net of at least just 1000cals?0

how about a net of at least 1000-1200 and I typically burn newhere from 450-800calories most days of the week.......0

if your doing 1400 now, drop it to 1200 which is what alot of people are on, see how that goes, going below that is risky for weightloss!0

As long as your net is about 1200!!0

the shred is great for inches...but not great for dropping a ton of lbs (this I know from personal experience!)when you are already pretty small to begin with!! Def do not net less then 1100-1200 cals, drink a ton of water, watch your sodium intake, and add in more cardio vs strength (strength is great for increasing your fat burn...but like someone said above if you burn 3500 cals over what your intake is...you should lose a lb)....simple fact: cardio burns more cals then strength!0

You could try carb cycling! http://www.scoobysworkshop.com/carbcycling.htm
I tried it for one day.. haha, I can never keep my carbs low enough.0 -

well then you should focus on eating more calories and calorie dense foods, not less.0 -
Keep your carbs 75-100g a day0
