Just realised that yesterdays new weight puts me into the overweight bracket instead of the obese one :smile: This is such a great incentive to keep going, The reason i joined MFP was when i weighed my self and discovered i was considered obese i knew it was time to do something about the fact that ever item of clothes i owned was too tight.

    CONGRATS!

    Being merely "overweight" is a mini- goal of mine, too. I have 6 pounds to go as of this morning. Pretty sweet!

    Just on Friday, my son's teacher confessed to me that she wanted to lose down to the "overweight" category. I have never thought of her as heavy, much less obese. But who wants that label?
