Beating Mental Illness

After I won South West Adaptive Strongest Woman in November 2016 I had a mental breakdown. I couldn't train and my diet went to pot. Good Friday was a big step for me. 1st session back in the gym and in a good place mentally. Decided on what I'm training for. It's like a switch I have clarity and focus. This journey, my life is a marathon not a sprint. One step at a time but always going forward. I will not let life beat me, no matter what it throws at me xXx

Thank you for sharing. Am dealing with a burnout myself since about January. Have not been exercising regularly since mid-Feb, I guess. Trying my hardest to switch my thinking around, to care for myself, and also get my body re-energized, but am struggling with motivating myself. Your sincere post is definitely inspiring and I wish you all the best, MissFran
