Do you reward yourself for hitting mini goal weights?

And if so, what have you rewarded yourself with/planning to reward yourself with.
I'm looking for inspiration outside of my usual new clothes.

No. Why? Is there some reason why you don't want to achieve your goal? If not, then why must you bribe yourself to reach it?5
-
For me hitting the goal is the reward.8
-
I give myself a pat on the back, but that's about it. I think I'd be too tempted to turn to food as a reward if I started thinking along those lines.2
-
No, it is reward enough for achieving my mini goals.
Had one this morning. -35 pounds reached in 17 weeks. 1/2 way to goal weight.3 -
I buy new things....!!!!! I love gifts for me6
-
My goal is 10 pounds every month and if I reach them then I get my nails done or hair or go shopping:)1
-
Yes, typically workout clothing or gear. Never food-related.

I log it, give myself a pat on the back for a job well done, and move on.
I have a major reward lined up for once I've reached my goal and maintained for 2 years (eye surgery) and I anyhow need to save up for that. But I don't have mini-goal rewards.2 -
No rewards for mini goals, however, as I lost weight, I began to be able to do more and that was a reward.2

I do I think it provides an extra incentive to lose weight. For the days when I'm down on myself and feel like I will never lose weight, knowing that in 10 lbs I get to have a pedicure. Some other things that I like to reward myself with are getting my hair done, going on fun dates with my boyfriend or friends, going to the mall and window shopping, trying me a healthy recipe I found online etc. I think that rewards for mini goals are great and i lost 90 lbs the last time I did this.5

Sure and looking and feeling better as well as being healthier is what I reward myself with. It is great. As for food or stuff? Nope, that isn't why I am doing this.0
-
Nope. It brightens my day but that's it.3

Here are my goals I've set for myself. I rarely do anything for myself (it's always about my kids and husband) so I find this gives me something to look forward to. I'm aiming to lose 50-55 pounds:
10 pounds - massage (I have a gift card)
20 pounds - facial
30 pounds - massage, facial & hair highlight
40 pounds - subscription to Stitch Fix for a couple boxes of new clothes
50? - I imagine I'll buy myself some new clothes1 -
I've bought the odd thing when hitting a goal, but don't plan ahead. Maybe I should? Having trouble breaking 240.
And don't worry about what others do beyond curiosity. Do what works for you, if that's a reward for a mini-goal, then great. Enjoy.4 -
Sure and why not? It is its own reward but its also nice to treat myself to something as a atta girl.1
-
Yes! When I began I rewarded myself for 30 days of logging... then 20lbs, then 50lbs and now I have Amazon Prime so I reward myself for having lunch lol2

Lately I've been eyeing a Herschel Supply Co. bag but I haven't found a way to justify it just yet (since I have one lol)
My recent purchases:
Android box & keyboard
FitBit strap replacement that's super cute
Sugar Free Syrup
Tacky mug for my tacky mug collection
Belt for my fave jeans (broke my last one)
Water bottle
I need ideas too lol1 -
Not for my 5 lb mini-goals, but I do for milestones. For hitting -100 lbs I bought a stained glass table lamp; something I fell in love with but would never have normally bought.2

Sure do! Everyone is motivated differently.
I rarely buy myself anything "special" - so I made a list of things that I'd consider a bit of a splurge. My first reward was for an a-dorable designer lunchbox, the second for a pile of books I've been eyeing, etc. I just earned myself a facial, and my next reward is new running shoes! I did a reward for every ten pounds, and for some special milestones along the way (ONEderland, next BMI class, etc.). I've also got a big one for goal.
It really helps me stay positive, and it especially helps me turn away from my previous habit of celebrating success w/food - or alcohol, whatever.0 -

Yes and now I'm up to my eyeballs in debt. I'm owed a trip to the Caymans and a new Lexus. By goal weight I'll be indentured for life.4 -
The confetti that pops up on this app does it for me!3
-
You better believe it! Not food related though. I do one about every 10lbs, although my next goal is only 5lbs because it will take me into normal BMI range. Usually it's spa related, like pedicure or massage, although when I hit my ultimate goal it will be some clothes.0
-
I do every 5 lbs. usually spa-related, as some others. For me, the key is that it has to be something I won't buy myself/treat myself to otherwise. So, if you'll end up caving and getting a pedicure anyway, a pedicure isn't a good reward.
My next up is Tieks. I just added this b/c I've been stalled out for awhile and also have been stalking Tieks for awhile, so it seems like time to up my reward game to get me over this hump. It's more extravagant than my other rewards have been and will be, but it's timely and motivating!
Also, a "bribe" is something that encourages bad behavior. This is not a bribe! I like to think of these rewards as a similar strategy to clearing junk food out of the house. It's a strategy that sets you up for success and is motivating.1 -
I buy myself flowers on the weeks I lose. Sometimes just one gerbera daisy.

Do new clothes in smaller sizes count?3
-
Yes. I spank my own behind and go "atta girl". Then move on with my day.4
