So I started really working out about 8 weeks ago. I usually do 20-30 min cardio plus strength training for 30 min, I rotate my strength training abs, legs, chest, back, arms. I started calorie counting about 4 weeks ago. I feel like I'm struggling cuz I'm kind of on a little bit of a roller coaster with my weight up and down every few days but never really getting over a full weight loss of about 3 pounds. Any tips on helping me move this process along a little bit faster? I'm getting a little discouraged.

I would definitely look more at your diet. You are working out which is great but diet is huge. I also recommend if you are eating back your calories from workout do not do that. I have been going steady with weightloss for the past month. I have had the workout part down for years with running and strength training. Never lost weight because I was eating wrong. I switched up my food again and started logging everything. I am thankful so much for frozen cauliflower rice. It is a base for all my lunches I take to work. I do two hard boiled eggs and some bacon for breakfast. Very easy to take this to work to eat. I have even been fitting in some Wasa crackers with the little wedge laughing cow cheese with glass of wine. My calories for the day is 1500 which is working well for me. In the past month I am down 10 lbs so I am happy about that. Tomorrow (Tuesday) is my official weigh-in day so hoping to be down at least another pound.

3 pounds in 4 weeks is great. Your weight is always going to fluctuate, so it's best to look at the overall trend, especially if you are going to weight frequently.
