Lose vs. Loose - problem solved!

Since so many people hate the fact that people often type "lose" as "loose", I hereby propose we use another term in its stead.
Submissions for its replacement are, as follows:
drop; surrender; disinherit; dispossess; forfeit; oust; relinquish; yield; dissolve; shed; exhaust;
And my personal fav for those yo-yo dieters : misplace
Can you imagine?
Mireygal76 has ousted 1.2 pounds since her last weigh in! Ha HAH! Take that, pesky FAT!
or
Mireygal76 has misplaced 1.2 pounds since her last weigh in... Sadly, they will be found and misplaced again. Much like her car keys.

I use a mental picture when people write "loose" that they are thinking of the transitive verb: "to set free or release."
I imagine them strewing excess pounds around in a carefree manner, or using them to attack others: "Smithers, loose the weight!"
This is the same trick Hyperbole and a Half used with the alot:

I just like to think that this is a global community in which English is not the first language of some of the people posting. There are worst things too worried about in life0
