Hello,
I am 25 years old and work at a job that involves sitting all day long. I currently weigh 232, and I am not very happy about it. I really just want to lose some weight and tighten up tummy, and get myself a nice bubble butt. I have a curvy figure, and want to keep it that way. Is that too much to ask for?! Ive been counting calories, and going to the gym. This method seems to work for me, but I always just give up (I just love food, but who doesnt). Hoping that I wont give up this time and will make it to my goal.

Looking for advice on losing some lbs and butts please. :)

Don't hope you doing give up.... just... DON'T...

consistent deficit is all you need to lose weight. Whether you have a curvy figure when you're smaller depends on your genetics.

Find yourself a good lifting program.

I don't know anything about lifting, or where to even start. I usually go to the gym and work the elliptical anywhere between 30-40 minutes. And then switch between arm and leg equipment the gym has every day.

There's a stickies thread in the exercise forum about which program is best for you. We all started somewhere.

Get a trainer for few sessions. DON'T try to learn on your own especially if you have no experience in lifting.

That would require money that I don't have.

First thing first, don't give up. You love food, that's a good thing. I love that too. Just don't eat over your calorie need. Add cardio to your gym routine. High Intensity Interval Training(HIIT) is the best. It worked for me. But if you feel you're not fit for that, do steady state cardio. When you build up enough stamina hit HIIT. Things take time, so be patient. Maintain diet, do exercise and never give up!!

What kind of nonsense advice is this? Stop encouraging laziness. People should go and read up on what they should do, with correct form etc. The internet is deep source of info. Learning about working out Isn't neuroscience.

That would require money that I don't have.

Find a good workout plan online and then youtube watch how to do each exercise. I have a strong lifting background, but a few lifts I never really did. Watch the videos, practice with them. Watch yourself in a mirror. Use minimal weight until you feel like you mastered the move.

    Easy peasy

Definitely what everyone else is saying, Don't HOPE you don't give up, just don't! You got this. Once you're in a routine it is closer to becoming a habit. The days you don't want to go - FORCE yourself to go. I also love food. I allow myself little bits of things I love here and there during the week. I need and do have "cheat" meals on the weekend. Keeps me sane and doesn't leave me feeling like I'm deprived. However, I've been getting a little too FREE with my "cheat" meals and need to tighten that up again.

Find what works for you, as cliche as it sounds, it's a journey. It's a life style change.
