Have you tried this? What were your results?
I'm not considering it. I'm just being nosy.

Are you talking about the kind of herbal magic high school kids sell behind the bleachers at football games? I don't think it promotes weight loss.0

Hahah no, quite the reverse, it gives you the munchies!0

I was kind of under the impression it sped up metabolism?0

I DID try this program. Immediately into it I knew they were starving your body, and filling it with "supplements". Not sure what the calorie count was, but it is very very low. I'm guessing the 850-900 range.
It is stupidly expensive, and if anyone succeeds on it (which I doubt), I cannot imagine they keep the weight off at all.0 -
Hey man... you got any corn dogs?????0

My cousin did something similar to herbal magic..I don't remember which one...one of the spinoffs...maybe herbal one? Anyways she is now one of their "success stories" and they run her after picture often.
However, SO much of it was eating. Practicing the same principles that so many MFPers practice every day. Eat 3 main meals, 2 snacks, LOTS of veggies and proteins. You must drink your 8 glasses of water before you can have anything else. As a pp said they also load you with vitamins.
My cousin never went to a gym and over the course of a year dropped 60 lbs and thousands of dollars on fees and their vitamin supplements they make you take. Her friend followed along with her, eating similar, but didn't have the money to spend on the vitamins. Over the year their weight loss difference was minimal. She got the same effect for $0 cost.
I think, like anything else, you have to have the motivation to just do it.
edited to add...she did keep it off until she got pregnant. After her son was born she went back to eating like she did when she was with them, and got down to likely close to her prepregnancy weight. It's just a matter of her eating right.0 -
The non-shenanigan responses are interesting. Thank you.
The shenanigan responses are being totally ignored so as not to encourage this type of behavior in my beloved thread.0 -
Shenanigans is my favorite word ever.
Ok, carry on.0 -
