I went to the gym this morning and burned 400 calories on the spin bike. I came home, got a shower and decided to download some new tunes on my ipod. Now that I have them, I am all fired up and feel like I could go for a "wog" (I am not a good runner, so I walk and I jog, walk and jog).

My son is hanging out doing homework and the party doesn't start for 4 hours.....please vote - do I go run or should I be done with my workout.....?

    I say if you know you may indulge at your "party" and your 400 calories won't be a big enough buffer then additional exercise won't hurt at all.

    If you have the time and the energy. Go for it!!!

    I ran 8 miles outside yesterday it was 35 degress:happy: I felt so good I followed it up with a 40 minute bike ride and a few weights.
  • GO! you're lucky your ambition to exercise comes in the middle of the day. Anytime I actually want to exercise it's the middle of the night.

    If you have the time and the energy go for a run/walk...why not??? And it will help you earn more calories for your party!!! :drinker: :flowerforyou:

    I love the word :bigsmile: I do the same thing.... always called it walk-jogging (if I walked more) jog-walking (if I jogged more)

    New word for me, goes in my exercise plan as of Today! I'm on the way out the door for a wog in just a few minutes.

    Woo hoo! I'm back and I earned an extra 511 calories :bigsmile: and it was really pretty out! At one point it felt like spring! (Ok, I know we're only 1/2 way through winter so I will TRY not to get too excited!)

    I highly recommend wogging to everyone, even if you've already exercised . (PS -glad everyone seems to like my word!) :laugh:
