I got the results from my blood work. Cholesterol levels all in the good ranges and an A1C of 5.7!42

The seasonal aisle at my Walgreen's has all Easter candy marked down to 25 cents. I walked the full length, and didn't scrape the entire aisle in my basket. In fact, I just picked up my prescription and left. Nothing seemed worth the calories.34

Put on my favorite white capris today and they were too big. Looked for a belt and all my belts are too big! Time to clean out the closet.26

Attempted C25k again today. Still didnt get to finish as the hubs had a meeting to go to. Getting a jogging stroller Thursday, so hoping that helps. I felt better about it this time. And I came home and did a 30 min Turbo Jam video Instead.23

Got out of the shower and looked in the mirror and...wow, hotness! My husband was correct - I do look amazing! I normally think I look good, but my latest fitness efforts (coming out of my winter hibernation) seem to be paying off big time. I love the combo of distance running, weight training and extra protein! It does wonderful things for my body type...
Are you eating at maintenance?? I'm still debating what my next move will be.... curently eating at maintenance now, getting my cardio/weight training in as well.... definitely sculpted (sculpting) a nice shape, just need this extra fat off of my arms! It's crazy that this is my
stubborn area whereas it's the thighs/hips for most women!

Hubby and I went on a walk around the park and decided to go on the seesaw. We ended up having a BLAST since we are actually close in size now. I haven't laughed that hard in a long time! He still weighs less than me but we made it work old me would've been too self conscious to even sit on a seesaw!40

I ran for an hour straight!!!!
I'm 70 days away from starting C25K.
The body is an amazing thing!!
I still have about 2 more miles before I'm ready for a 10K. (My goal distance.)
I think I'll do a 10K pacer app and try to squeeze all 6.2 miles into an hour.
Then onto a half marathon.40 -
Anyone else do Les Mills Body Combat classes?
The new release includes huge numbers of burpees.
The first time our instructor took us through it she was the only one still moving by the end of the track. TBH I didn't do any "I don't do burpees" was my initial response and I went straight to the lower option of squatting.
I went away and thought that was a bit poor, really, so I decided to practice at home! This week, in class, I kept moving through the whole track and did A SERIOUS LOT of burpees. Didn't have time to look around but think there were not many others still on it at the end.
NSV for sure --- Rocking being one of the strongest in the class!35 -

I love burpees. I seem to be the only one in my class that feels that way though. >.<8 -
Not really a victory, but just an amazing thing that I don't think has ever happened in my 6 year history on MFP: today I came within one point of meeting all of my macro targets: Over 1 on protein, under 1 on carbs and fat. Not that it really matters, but it just hasn't ever magically worked out before. I'm always significantly over or under on something! Wow!

Eating at just a tiny bit below maintenance - averaging around 100-150 calories below. In the past 3 months I have dropped one pound (but that's not really a significant amount), and also (according to my recent health check-up) dropped 2.5% body fat. I guess I'm recomping or something?9 -

Awesome achievement!!
Right there with you on the 'I don't do burpees'!
did some during a tabata session the other week and was not dying as much as I thought I would be though. Although I do still look like a flaily whale (yay for full room mirrors!)
But I have gone off the newer combat releases because of the move towards more stuff like burpees and less 'fighting' (fortunately our instructor is of the same opinion so uses older releases or mix ups)

I'm sorry if this is a little too much information, but it's been weeks and I still can't get over it!
I was feeling pretty self conscious about my breasts, they seemed saggy and deflated and *blegh*. I started to think that maybe my bras were wearing out (also, the shoulder straps were pretty stretched out). But we now live in a different country and the American selection is limited. So, after some procrastinating, I thought I'd try German sizing and brands.
My boobs are amazing again! My band size stayed the same, but my cup size went down, and that made a humungo difference! I feel so much more confident and my husband is very happy
And, even better, German bras are a fraction of the cost of the American ones!!! 4€ vs $38, I don't even mind if they don't last long!!
What I can't get over is just how much of a difference these new bras made in how I feel! I wish I'd have gone shopping months ago!!48 -
What a pleasant surprise just now: over the summer, when I'd lost about 80 lbs, I purchased some coats and jackets that were on sale. The Small Petite fit; the XS Petite was uncomfortably snug at that point, and I couldn't even get my arms in the sleeves of the XXS Petite jacket. (I figured I wasted my money on that XXS Petite one. [Like, how can there even be XXS Petite?!])
Well, that jacket -- the XXS Petite -- is now on and zipped up!
It feels a little snug around the middle, but I also wonder if it's supposed to fit that way. I have never worn things that cling (ummmm, no thanks). Always hiding, I guess. But, maybe it fits OK? I think I'm still getting used to my body. If it's not right, then it sure will be completely fine in a couple weeks.22 -
C25K W1D3 - completed first thing this morning with my son
Also completed the same bike ride (route) as yesterday in similar weather conditions (ie, very cold, very blustery, head winds, cross winds but no hail today, thankfully) and knocked 10 minutes off the time
And it looks like I'll get to go out again later as the forecast is no longer for rain.
Happy days25 -
My latest and hopefully last attempt at shedding the weight started 1/1/17. Down 25/100 lbs. Two NSVs in this picture this morning. 1. The pants are getting loose. I had to tighten the suspenders! 2. I fully buttoned the shirt! I never could get the collar buttoned without choking myself.
A third NSV from last night (not pictured). I was wearing some shorts and I had to tighten my belt up another notch.66 -
I fit into size 22 pants today! Last year I was wearing 32s.45
-
I have a waist again. I'm a little top-heavy but mostly straight up and down. I have a long torso so I like to wear belts high up on my waist to cut the torso up a little. At my highest, it pretty much looked like I had wrapped a rope around a cylinder. Now, there is a little squish inward! I also have a little extra belt at the front from having to cinch it tighter to keep it around my waist.26
-
I wore "real" pants two days in a row to work now, along with shirts that fit, instead of my stretchy leggings and tunic tops.
If 10lbs down feels this good, I can't weight to meet my goal!38 -
I was able to fit into a sweater i bought one size too small24
