Well a brief synopsis: I'm less than a year from becoming a veterinarian, I have been overweight for most of my young life and did lose weight once before with my fiance. Well, that relationship went south, I have been sitting behind a desk for classes and I gained much of it back. I am ready to be who I want to be but I need a little encouragement I think. I am basically starting with a clean slate; only things I have to worry about are me and my schooling. That is my introduction and if you are willing, I am asking for any tips or words to live by in order to help me as I take my new goal to drop 50lbs one day at a time. Thanks for reading this in advance and I wish you all the best of luck in your goals because we all share at least one :)

Remember to take it one day at a time and that will make the process more achievable. Good luck! We only have the moment we're living in:)

I want to be able to look back on life and be proud of what I've accomplished. So no matter what I'm doing, I give it my all and that way I will have no regrets. No one is going to make changes for you, you have to be ready and willing to work for it! Motivation comes in waves, you just have to push through when it's lacking. It will be worth it. Good luck to you!
