two NSVs
1) my running friends noticed that I had lost weight
2) I was able to keep up with them for the whole 13.2 miles and I wasn't completely exhausted at the end, I could have probably run another 2 miles.37 -
My husband has been very forthcoming with the compliments lately. Several days ago I was wearing a dress and he had just put his glasses on. He turned and said to me, "I put on my glasses and now you look twice as good. I didn't know what I was missing." LOL. I'm loving all of the attention.39

A little hungover today but still got outside for a run and later for a walk and ate relatively healthy food!25

1. Made it to the gym 3 days in a row. (Never gone more than 2x in a week.)
2. Tried the rowing machine for the first time.
3. Noticing that I have muscles that are now showing in my thighs and butt.
4. My guy telling me I am getting more beautiful everyday.
5. Roller skating with my kids 2 times this week.
6. Kept working on losing weight, even though my scale said I gained 5-6 pounds. (realizing most of it was water retention sure helped.)26 -
My boyfriend and I are going to a wedding next weekend. Yesterday I went shopping for a dress. It was exciting but overwhelming to have so many dresses to choose from. I haven't bought a new dress in several years and I've lost more than 50 pounds since that time. I used to have to select from just a couple of dresses that would fit. Now, I had lots of choice and actually could choose a dress because it was pretty and fit me. I tried on a lot of dresses in a variety of sizes because I don't have an idea of my dress size. The dress I bought I really love and I'm excited to wear it. I tried it on for my boyfriend because even after I bought it I wasn't certain if I was a good choice and he loves it.34

In my gym class this morning, the instructor complimented me on my triceps pushups, said I was looking good! Usually the instructors come over to correct me as I learn the proper form and get stronger. Plus, I went up in the weights I used for the class *flex*26

I have to buy a new belt! I can't tighten mine anymore23

Fitting into a pair of shorts I bought the same time last year when I couldn't wear them 3 months ago!19

Bought a pair of size 10 jeans this weekend. I realized then that 12's was the smallest I had ever bought myself.
Which means the last time I was this size my parents were still buying my clothes, so 14 or younger.
Also, I ran a 5K three days in a row this weekend. what?!?!42 -
I need to do laundry, but... because I'm human... I decided to put it off. Ended up putting on a pair of underwear I avoid because it's uncomfortable.
I was so surprised at how differently it fit me! It really drove home that I was losing weight.30 -
I got a bikini wax and a new swimsuit. I'm actually gonna wear it this weekend!33
-
Yesterday I did five uninterrupted pushups on my hands and toes. Far cry from where I was 4 months ago unable to do even a single pushup without modifications.29

Cleaned out my closet this weekend. 7 Trader Joe's bags of clothes to donate Tried on some stuff I haven't worn in a couple of years and it mostly fits

Wearing a pair of pants and having to pull them up all day. I need to belt them now.18

The fitness center near my home is having a "Summer Circuit Challenge" that I signed up for! It's during the month of May, the 3 females and 3 males who complete the most number of total body circuit workouts (approved by center staff) win $50! Normally I'd kind of be scared off by the other competitors, but this time I feel like I fit in, almost! I'm excited to go to my first class tomorrow!22

In January I bought some pants in a size 18 UK without trying them on. Got home and they refused to go up. Today, although I know not seeing much of a loss, I decided to try them on and they went up and even zip them up. They are a bit tight on the tummy but it have me so much zeal to continue!28

Logged in for 300 days in a row!!49

I do a little lifting for tone, and consequently the veins in my arms bulge out. I sent a picture to a friend in jail. She showed it to a friend, who said I would make a good drug addict.18

@SierraFatToSkinny -- I had to stop wearing underwear under my rowing shorts because they are too loose and seriously exacerbate the chafing problem at longer distances. Lol, congrats?10 -

Aha! That may be why I'm having similar problems on the bike over longer distances - that the undies are too big didn't occur to me. D'oh!

@Madwife2009 -- Definitely give it a try. I think cycling shorts in particular are better without underwear. The excess, damp fabric does bad, bad things.10

I'm not one to go commando, but I do find that I need to wear a large instead of an xl when running or "things" bounce around too much for my liking.9

1) I need to take in my already taken-in trousers again. They are loose. Which means that I'll also have to take in my not-yet-taken-in trousers. Amazing how strength training alters your figure when actual weight-loss seems to evade you.
2) My children needed shoes today so we went to the local outlet centre (shoes are 40% cheaper there); we walked 7+ miles there and back. My toddler was having a lazy day so she walked about a mile of that, and I pushed her the rest of the way. I was able to push her faster than DH could walk. He couldn't keep up with me and actually moaned about it. Usually it's the other way around, and he's charging off without the rest of us. We went this morning as it was dry (the forecast was threatening storms) and I wanted to get everyone out for some exercise whilst we could.
Got home, DH just managed to get the clothes in off the line when the skies opened and all of the world's water fell upon my part of the world. So that, as far as I could see, had put paid to the next C25K workout and my bike ride for the day. Cue much gnashing of teeth on my part. The storm continued for about an hour and then eased off a bit. Then started, stopped, started, stopped, you get the picture. Eventually it ceased and the sun reappeared.
I grabbed my son and said that we should do our C25K whilst we could so off we went. Got within half a mile of home (circular route) run 5 of 6 when the rain started. Did the walking bit, the rain got harder. Run 6 of 6, it bucketed down on us. I have never been so wet outside of a swimming pool, nor has my poor son. At the end of the 90 second run, we decided to carry on running as we'd get home a bit faster. After another 90 seconds, my boy, who is decades younger than I, was struggling to keep going and begged me to stop. We were about 200 yards from home at this point and I could have kept going but slowed to a brisk walk for him. I didn't want him put off as I'm enjoying our time together. Maybe if he hadn't insisted on talking about tanks (the military type, he's been obsessed since we took him to a tank museum at the age of five) during the run sections he'd have had the energy to keep going when we needed to
We got home seriously soaked. DH laughed at us (but of course the last laugh was on him as we were the ones doing the exercise whilst all he was exercising was his larynx).
Absolutely loving C25K. Running (or plodding in my case) is such fun. I've missed out on so much by not doing it sooner. And it's (currently) not as hard as I was anticipating. I may feel differently in a few weeks though
The bike ride was completely out of the question as it's still raining. Not a good start to the month and my planned mileage target. Supposed to be nice tomorrow though, so I should get out for a long ride then (with correctly fitting underwear )25 -
21cm loss in 4 weeks of personal training. That includes the mandatory introduction session before I started.15

Lost 3.75 inches this month since starting crossfit, total of 42.5 inches so far....crazy to think about it.25

I just started my weight training at home using the free Fitness Blender videos on YouTube. My goal is to be more toned before my birthday in June. I made my own strength training schedule from the video library. Monday is upper body, Tuesday is a rest day, Wednesday is Lower body, Thursday is a rest day, Friday is Abs and Saturday is Total body and Sunday is a rest day. I'll repeat this weekly for a month. I took before pictures and I'm looking forward to the changes26

Husband embraced this new way of life! He has been meal prepping with me, making suggestions, and started the Couch to 5K program last week! ❤️

Several weeks ago, I rummaged through some old boxes to find smaller pants to fit me. One pair fit beautifully but needed to be hemmed. Not an eager seamstress, I put them aside to do "later." lol
Today I tried them on again to mark how much to hem them. They're too big now.25 -
My feet may have shrunk a bit. I can wear my daughter's shoes which are a size smaller than my shoes.
She's gonna hate me if i keep borrowing her clothes and shoes23
