I didn't do very well in the April Weight Loss challenge as I was busy doing other things and probably ate a bit too much. Neither-less this is good to continue the same type of thing.

Feeling very discouraged going into this month I have previously lost 40lbs. I did it the right way, slowly by working out and by eating well and logging my calories. I kept it off for almost two years, but I started a new job that made it difficult to work out due to my long commute and I gradually started putting back on the weight before I knew it I am back up almost 20 lbs. I am so angry at myself but I am excited about this challenge. I have started training for a 1/2 marathon and today marks my decision to start religiously logging my calories again.

I am hoping to lose about 1 pound a week. This is the beginning of a very long journey for me and I am hoping something like this will help keep me on track. I will weigh in weekly on Mondays. Good luck everyone!

I'll join! I lost 35 pounds four years ago, put on a lot of muscle, and now I'm right back where I started
Only difference is I know how to work out. I need to lose 30 pounds, so a pound a week I guess is a good goal, right? is it?
