Which name do you like best?

Gerarda (jer-ar-da) Carolyn
Gerarda Catherine
Greta Carolyn
Greta Catherine

Last name starts with a V

Gerarda is my grandmas name so it's definitely what we'd like to use (she also goes by greta) but having a hard time choosing the exact name.

Please chime in!

I like Gerarda Catherine. I don't know why, but I like the way it sounds together.

As someone who has a name that isn't standard in it's pronunciation I recommend the either of the Greta names. It never fails that every time I meet someone I end up leading with a correction of how it is said, followed by an explanation. It isn't easy to always have to lead with your name and not necessarily lead with who I am. Just my thoughts...

I know exactly what you mean- I have a difficult surname and my first name is an irregular spelling. It's Ashlea but teachers would skim over it and call me Alesha (which is my cousin's name) or Ash-leah and drove me crazy. One teacher tried to tell me my name actually was 'Alesha' and to stop making things up and she paired it with the common mispronunciation of my surname.

    I like Gerarda Catherine

This, definitely. No confusion over pronunciation or "what kiind of name is that," yet it's got a classy, exotic feel.
