Alrightyyyyy, so I finally got a gym membership and can get going tomorrow morning. I'm going to start with the C25K, but I know I can already run 3 or 4 minutes. Should I skip directly to week 2 or just let it be and start at week 1 to make sure I can handle running multiple times?

Thanks for your help! :)

My opinion would be to start from the Week 1 and maybe do it at a faster speed ... instead of jog/walk do a run/jog. I could do a mile run and I still started at week 1.

I agree, either run / jog, or walk, run fast! It's a great programme, enjoy!

I would recommend avoiding the treadmill if possible and run on a track.. just so you know if you are going to start doing any 5k runs it is much more difficult to run in the 'real world' than on a tread mill.

Sorry I know that was not your question, I would start at week one and maybe for a shorter time. If you find it to be easy for you then skip to week two after a few days.

I'd do D1W1, see how it feels - if way too easy, move on a bit and see how another day/week works. Also - it depends what you're really aiming for - if you simply want to be able to run for half hour, you should be good with what I just wrote. If you want it as a HIIT - I can't see why not doing it from the beginning. :)

Great! Thanks everybody, looks like I'm starting with Week 1. Just got an app for my phone. :)

Some people switch from the tread mill to the real world during each week too.

Yeah, with 100+ weather, I won't be running outside for awhile. Though I do plan on running outside when the weather gets nicer.
I also set my treadmill at an incline of 1.5, so it wasn't completely flat.
