57, Male. Starting weight: 178.9 Looking to lose down to 160- 165lbs. 225 total carbs per day. Can an older man lose this amount? Let hear from other men in the same boat.

At 55 I was at 312 pounds. Managed to shed 85 in a couple years. Over time, I gained 32 of those back. Now at 61, lost those 32 (plus 1) since October. I think it does get a bit harder to lose weight with age, but as long at Calories In are less than Calories out, the pounds drop.
I focus on calories only, don't worry about Carbs. I did look back at the reports and I pretty much stay under 200 Carbs with the food I eat, so maybe that helps.0
