Things like fish, chicken and cheese (low-fat) all have tonnes of protein but little sugars :-))0

I like to snack on beef jerky and pickles. Hi protein, low sugar, good combo.0

Beef jerky, if you're into it.
Eggs are great
Hommus with carrot sticks/celery (chick peas are high in protein. Make your own! Blend chick peas, garlic, cumin, lemon and salt with olive oil and water)
Cottage Cheese with carrot sticks/celery (cottage cheese is high in protein)
Small handful of almonds
Spoonful of peanut butter with a cup of tea
Protein bar (check sugar content)
I find that if I up my fat intake, it lowers the sugar. Plus it keep me full for longer. It's worked really well for me! Watch for sugar, it is hidden in a lot of processed and carby food.0 -

A boiled egg comes with fat. If you are low on fat anyway one boiled egg a day is fine but if you want to avoid that fat you can buy egg white in a pack (they also come in a form of powder) for protein only. If you eat just one egg white you wont get much protein out of it and it is a waste to cook 6 eggs and throw away all the yellow parts.
You have low fat cottage cheese as an option. If it is not creamy add some water. You can add a bit Splenda in or food aroma if you don't like the taste. If you want to make it really tasty (and the cheese isn't very salty) you can add fruit to it. You eat loads of fruit so you can add cottage cheese to one of your fruit snacks for a more filling meal.
Red Lentils are high in protein (but higher in carbs so keep that in mind) you can make "pancakes" with it or a light soup. The red kind is cooked very fast (15-20 minutes). If you want to make pancakes it is better not to cook them. You let them soak in water for a day, remove water and turn them into paste. If you have protein powder you can add some to make it higher in protein.
You can buy small fish, add a bit salt, pepper, basil ... throw it in the oven and in a few minutes you have fish "chips". High in protein with a bit of good fat.
Lean chicken is always good. Dice the meat, poke barbeque sticks in it and spice them any way you want. Bake them in the oven and you get a high protein snack on a stick.
Most of these snacks can be made in advance so you can take it with you to work. Red lentils pancakes are great because they last for a few days properly stored.0
