So I recently started my fitness journey and I am super excited! I anm doing a mixture of cardio and strength training to tone up and lose a few lbs. I've been eating what I thought was right but I've never done this before and everywhere I look the suggestions are different so I'm asking you guys. Is it okay to cut calories if I am trying to tone up? I know as long as i burn more than i eat that ill be okay but does that mean im still limited to certain food? I'm honestly having trouble with the right thing to eat so any suggestions helo. Thank you!!

Also, if anyone wants to be fitness friends lkease let me know! I can hold myself accountable to get motivated but I need someone to discuss it with and possibly work out with (over video chst or something). Thanks!1
