Anyone else have a gastric bypass?

Hi, I'm Jessica. I had my gastric bypass on 6/3/16 and went from 220 and I am now between 135-138 depending on the day. Any ladies out there who has had a gastric bypass wanna become friends and go one this healthy living journey with me? We can meet up and exercise together. I can only do low impact exercise due to other health problems. Trying to tone and tighten up loose skin.

    I had a friend that had that done. A year later she died from complications that she did not tell her doctor about. Not sure what the final reasons were. How much does that cost and does you insurance cover it?

    I had it but it might be hard to hook up. I live in northern Canada.

    I have not died from surgery complications but my blood work says I'm much healthier today.

    @tjkita my surgery was covered by public health care as my risk factors outweighed (pun, get it?) the risks from surgery.

    The surgery was covered by my insurance. I've been almost a year past surgery and I feel great.
