I lost my wedding ring .... it fell off somewhere!
Sorry to hear that. I lost a very valued ring too. I suspect it came off while drying my hands in the work bathroom and by the time I realized it was gone it was too late. Very upsetting but accepting the fact as there is nothing that can be done.0 -
I was able to do a quad stretch. I have huge thighs and being able to do it (even if I did have to lean to the side first) felt amazing13

I am currently on chemical relaxation (i.e. xanax). I realized I needed to do this before I reached for food, and it helped me from going home and eating away all my anxiety.15

A personal trainer didn't recognize me and was shy about asking if I was the same person....25

Completed Week 2 of C25K
With my son, of course. He was struggling a little bit on the last run but we made it. Perhaps because he was showing off on the earlier part of the run by walking faster than I was plodding running?
He also says that his chest feels better as a result of the training - as a baby he had bronchiolitis and it's affected his respiratory system, occasionally causing a tight feeling in his chest, especially after exercise - but he's not had that feeling at all over the last two weeks.
My lovely toddler wanted to go with us as well, bless. I'd have taken her in the buggy but it was too cold and windy. She was mollified by the promise of a visit to the swans tomorrow22 -
I was able to put on, button AND zip a pair of my teen daughter's jeans! They were like a second skin and they are not at all flattering yet, but....soon :-D26

Today is 1601 days logged
A few days ago i went to the gym after a bit of time off. I had way too much preworkout and managed to go harder on every machine. Also could do the highest weight on the hip thrusting machine. Think it's 138. Cool to know how strong my thighs can be.
I've been swimming consistently and notice a lot of changes with my body from that. Mostly the shoulders, rib fat going down and more leaner arms.25 -
Twice within the last four days someone has commented on my face looking slimmer and having a more defined jawline. I'm close to goal now with 10 or fewer to go -- I figured my face was just my face and that the last I need to lose would come from other places. So, that's pretty cool ... A nice surprise.20

I love this. I am doing C25K with my son as well; he's 11. I have a 5 year old, too, and he goes most of the time and rides his bike. It was a lot easier to keep reigns on him when he still needed training wheels, but now that he has a big boys bike, I can't keep up with him and have to constantly yell for him to slow down and/or stop. It's not been too cold for is to go, it's been too rainy. Our running trail has been completely flooded out, and we've had a lot of lightning, not just rain.

I do not like tea or coffee and usually my go to for caffeine is a soda in the morning. I have not had a soda in 4 days and no longer really crave it! Fingers crossed I can finally kick the habit with out relapsing again.29

My most recent NSV, I had my dominos order on the phone screen in front of me for lunch, I was just about to press the confirm button, and "treat myself" then I saw the little "nutrition" button at the bottom of the screen, so I thought oh go on then, I'll have a quick look. My meal (I can eat a lot of dominos!) would have come to 2789 calories plus however many Calories in the dip! Oh my god!!!! So I quickly closed the screen and had eggs on toast instead!!!! That for me is a HUGE victory. I have no willpower normally when it comes to take out food. Added to that, I worked out this evening. Yay70

I woke up this morning at about 4am. Rather then relaxing watching tv or play on internet I went to the gym. Did a bit of weights and rowed for 10 minutes now on stationary bike for an easy 15 minutes. Not the hardest workout but much better then tv.22

I can do up the trousers! the trousers that sparked my weight loss.
Gothy and jingly and covered in buckles and keychain type things and skulls haha
kinda like this
I no longer need to hold my breath, stand on tiptoes, use all my strength to get the zipper up - and forget about the button.
All does up, still a tad tight and I have muffin top over them of about half an inch. But they fit - I can even sit in them!!
(slightly miffed by the fact that they are way too big now around hips - but that is just how I am built apparently, maybe my stomach will eventually catch up with leg losses haha)
but I finally have my pair of trousers to go with my new rocks!! and a night out planned 27th May to show it all off!! woohooo!!!28 -
Put on a shirt that was slightly tight and now it fits perfect, I'm hoping that soon enough it will be too big (although that's a pity because I quite like it).22

weird but I noticed I'm getting a cleft in my chin??? what??? I guess my face has never been slim enough to see it. Kinda funny because we used to call them "butt-chins" when I was a kid.
Shout-out to anyone who remembers "Cleft: The Boy Chin Wonder" because that's all I can think about, lol.25 -
@beerfoamy Oh I love those pants! I want them.
@kingleahnidas We call them butt chins too, and they run strong in our family. I wonder if I will have one when I get to goal.

I was planning on trying my first 20 minute run for C25K tonight. Like always, I was all in my head about it. So, last night, I decided to go for a walk/run without the app and just see how far I could go until I felt like dying. I figured I would prove to myself that I could at least do 10 minutes at once and that maybe stitching together two 10 minute intervals would be doable later. That didn't happen. Instead I just ran the whole 20!27

The fact that my post about running for 20 minutes was my 20th post is making me really happy.25

Completed my first half marathon in 2:26:20.39

We vacationed in London. According to my fitbit, I walked 115 miles in 10 days, two of which were travel days with 8 hour flights!.29

All of the clothes that I love and kept from before I got injured and sick now fit!
- That was 15 yrs ago!
- I weigh at least 10 lbs less than 15 yrs ago. I guess there's a difference between 30 yr old and 45 yr old bodies.
- How was it normal that the waist band in pants basically came up so high they may as well be over-alls?
- I can't wear any of my loafers -- they're so loose I step out of them when I walk.
- I kind of like how stubborn and persistent I am.

I started C25K last night, and it wasn't bad! I'm nowhere near a 5k distance, but I'm really focusing on running SLOWLY so I can concentrate on my breathing. Aside from achy feet (which didn't hurt so bad yesterday) the thing I think that hinders me most is my breathing when I run. I wanna make sure I'm not running so fast that I'm gasping for air, and I want to run slow enough that I can consciously be aware of "in through your nose, out through your mouth."
Day 1 down!25 -
My L underwear now fits how my XL underwear used to fit. My XL underwear now feels like granny panties.21

To all those starting C25K- congratulations! It really does work, I went from not being able to walk a quarter mile without being out of breath to completing 3 10ks. I will say that I had to start out with some general walking to build up some cardio endurance, but after a few weeks of regular walking I could get started.
Good luck in all of your training!19 -
Ordered a new size 12 two-piece swimsuit for a planned trip this summer (after wearing my all-time high size 20 one last July). I figured I would need until summer to get into it, but on a whim I tried it on and it fits! I definitely need to do some pilates between now and then, but I can actually fit my body into it. It was encouraging since I've hit a plateau at the moment.28

Finally donated all of my 3x clothes. And will soon have to do the same with my 2x32

I adored Fairly Odd Parents! I think we watched it more for me than my son, although he said he enjoyed it too...
My recent NSVs:
I've been wearing my wedding ring 24/7 for the past few days. I hadn't been wearing it overnight because it would be uncomfortably tight in the morning, but I forgot to take it off one day and it was fine. So I figured I'd try keeping it on, and no problems! It's a little more snug when I get up but that doesn't last long. (Now the nights are getting warmer, though, I don't know how long I can keep wearing it... )
I recently tried on all the remaining dresses I have in my closet from years ago. I fit into the dress I wore for my 18th birthday, one I had at 20, the one I wore when I first met my husband on a blind date, and... my wedding dress! I was SO nervous to try it on because I didn't want to bust a seam or something, but it fits. A little more snugly than 28 years ago, but I'm still about 10lbs heavier than I was then so I'm amazed it fits at all! I plan to take photos in it soon.
I also fit, in varying degrees of comfort, into just about all of my old lingerie that I've kept over the years. Hubby was very appreciative of the fashion show!
That leaves me with one dress - ONE! - that doesn't fit. I may never be able to wear that one again because of the shape and style of it (I made it myself to my then-measurements and it's very unforgiving), but I'll try again in a few more pounds.

Walked with some friends around the the grounds of a old English country estate, the sort with a Georgian mansion house, formal gardens, lake with swans and wild areas, for 2 hours without needing to rest (huge progress with my previously dodgy knees and ankles!). This included climbing a very steep sided hill on a zig-zag path to the bluebell woods, chatting to my friends on the way, not feeling the usual "this is gonna kill me!". The worst bit was coming down again on the loose stone path, scared I would slip, but thanks to friend's helping hand and my walking pole, I did that too. Small victory, but these friends haven't seen me for some months, and were very impressed how I had improved.
Can't wait to see how it feels when I have lost a lot more weight!26 -
I refrained from seconds at dinner. My biggest downfall especially when I make something good for dinner(which is almost always )28

I realized today that I was grouchy because I hadn't worked out all week. So I did and I feel better. Who is this person!?!?37
