    Hi everyone! This is my first challenge on MFP, hopefully it will be successful :blush:

    I weigh daily and then take a weekly average to track my weight loss (to help account for daily fluctuation).

    May 1: 140.3
    May 2: 139.6
    May 3: 138.9
    May 4: 138.5
    May 5: 138.1
    May 6: 138.2


    May 31 goal: 132 (8 lbs)

    May 7: 139.9

    Average for week 1: 139.0

    My margaritas from Friday and cookout treats (ice cream, brownie and wine) caught up with me. I'm only 0.4 down from my starting weight, but my average weight is 1.3 lbs down, which is okay, but not exactly in line with my 8 lb goal...

    Back on track today! I have company coming into town next weekend, so I need to be really good during the week to offset any we can damage.

    Congrats to everyone who met their week 1 goal!

    Didn't lose :( BUT didn't gain either!!! Gotta watch the diet more closely this week

    My weight this week has been stubbornly up. I guess last weekend did more damage than I realized. It may also be related to water retention (TOM) and stress. My husband is traveling for work, and doing all of the parenting duties alongside work (which has been stressful lately) has been stressing me out a bit. He gets home on Friday-- but so does a friend from out of town, so I imagine drinking/snacking will ensue...

    Anyways, I'm going to try and cut my cals and start throwing in a little exercise after my son goes to bed. Hoping that will help to get back on track.

    I stayed at a lower cal goal yesterday and cleaned the house (not real "exercise" so to speak, but better than nothing) after my son went to bed, and I'm pleased with the result. Back on my downward trend, thank goodness. It won't be my best week since my first few days weren't great, but better than nothing!

    Gained a pound in a week due to lack of exercise while I was sick. Not going to let this discourage me. Im hitting the gym this week so let's hope I make better food choices
