slimming world ?

hi all,

So i have done all the classes with slimming world, weight watcher, now i am only using MFP.


I am trying to work out how we can actually lose with with these plans.
I know that i did lose weight but then put on and really got fed up with it all.
So now just eating healthy with the control on calories.

Can any one explain how we can eat so much with SW and lose, but then if we turned all what we eat into calories boy we would be eating thousands of them isnt that right ?

The reason i ask, is that is there a way we can do this and slimming world together if we wanted ?

    Slimming world is low fat diet but yeah it does make me think too about all those calories. My mum is doing slimming world diet and I'm counting calories and changed my lifestyle.
    My mum's been doing slimming world about 4 months lost 2 stone. I've been using MFP 2 months and lost nearly 2 stone.
    I probably could of lost more but I'm doing it slowly this time around as I'm enjoying this way and I'm not actually starving myself like I would of done before. Yo-yo dieting not good and I'm paying for that now

    I am at a stand still, you have done amazing, well done, Can you let me know what you are doing meaning the calorie intake ad Macros please, only to see if i need to tweek mine a bit as i am not losing , for the past 3 weeks ive been stuck :( and not losing also gained a pound in one on the weeks too..
    This is all so hard i just want a steady loss and i would be happy.
    My calories intake is 1300 have tried 1400 but i never really eat more that 1200.. macros ive been changing a bit to see what will suit.. but nothing is.
    Oh and your mum has done well too.. with sw you can eat plenty i really dont understand how lol.. they say you can eat a whole chicken haha then if we turn that in to calories omg.

    I've set MFP to lose 1lb per week but I have been losing 2-3lbs per week and sometimes I just maintain due to water retention. My calorie goal is 1890 I just stick to that and go out walking. I struggle to eat when I wake up but I have a tiny breakfast biscuit when I wake with a drink of water then when I go to work after an hour I have cereal then lunch I have cereal again, snacks banana, apple, satsuma or sw bar. Then tea I have chicken with salad or have jacket potato with beans and a little cheese.
    I don't each much bread now unless I have a slimming world burger in a wholemeal roll. I still eat curry with chapattis just work it into my calories. Some days when I'm busy at work I might just have a yogurt for lunch and I may only have 1300 calories that day.
    Before I was eating out alot and now I dont. Was eating too much of the wrong stuff pastry and portion control was my downfall. Dont help working with confectionery
