Hey guys i used to eat 1200 calories even though the app suggested 1600 but i thought i would speed things up and i cut off sugary drinks and drank 3 liters of water per day and it was good but after 1 month i stopped losing weight so i upped my calorie intake to 1600 as suggested by the app and i can see and feel the weight coming back what do i do ?

If you are gaining now, you were not accurately counting your intake at 1200.
Do you use a food scale to weigh everything? Do you pick the right entries from the database?7 -
I do actually and my food is quite healthy most of the time no fried foods no sugary foods no empty calories but as i told you the app suggested 1600 but i went with 1200 thinking that it will speed things up and it did for about a month and half then stopped so i went up to 1600 and im gaining weight even though i did not change anything in my diet im getting really frustrated1

If you went straight from 1200 to 1600, without small incremental increases, it is probably just a blip. It will most likely settle down once you get used to your new calorie limit. I wouldn't worry about it. Just stick to 1600 for a few weeks and see what happens.4

I see you are a male. Need more information like your stats, your goal and starting weight. Making your diary public will help, too.1

You are using a trending weight app or web site to measure your weight trend over time, right?2

When (specific date) did you up your calories?1 -

What does that mean? Is the scale actually showing a weight increase, or is it just your subjective perception that you're going by?3 -

then its possible you are eating more than you think,or its water retention from eating high sodium/foods high in carbs(Im not saying to cut out or avoid carbs).weight loss is not linear so you can go a few weeks without seeing a loss, its normal.1
