Anyone followed any particular plan to shed fat? Do you just focus on cals in and out or macros or only eating carbs after workouts? After some advice please

Calories first, macros, particularly protein second, workouts for health and more calories to eat.

Meal timing, other than my preferences surrounding working out, are irrelevant.

I just eat the right number of calories and focus on hitting my protein goal as it helps me feel full.

I generally try to eat a well balanced diet for my health, but the only thing I've focused on for weight loss is calories. I eat carbs all the time lol :)

I just eat what I want if it fits in my calories. I focus on choosing foods with more fat and protein because they tend to keep me fuller, but if it's a high carb day, it doesn't bother me. Timing is when I want food. I don't like to sleep on an empty stomach so I eat fairly late. If I want breakfast, I eat it, if I don't, I just have water. I don't really workout, I just go for walks often so timing around that doesn't apply to me.

You will get the best results for fat loss if you stay under your calorie allowance while also doing daily workouts that combine cardio with strength training.

As long as you eat less than you burn (calories in and out) you'll loose weight. Macros may affect your satiety but not your weight loss. Personally, I eat pretty much the same as I always did just less of it (except that some treats no longer seem worth the kilojoules). I'm more satiated by volume than fats, protein or carbs though.
