I am obsessed by the number going down!!I know I know but it doesn't phase me, "weigh" myself once a week ,same day same time" I would
say at this point I am scale obsessed.
Any helpful tips you've learned to help a girl out? I weigh every morning when I get up. Sometimes though I go and weigh out of curiosity. Any time something is changed in the way I eat or do I weigh. It's irrrational

Tape measure concentrate on that first and scales second and buy a scale that monitors fatloss as remember scales are weighing everything in and on your body
Fatloss is what your looking for and inchloss those numbers on a scale aren't a liner0 -

Pity the poor weight scale. Forced to live on the floor and be stepped on by people...
And it's no wonder, because all the weight scale can tell you is - wait for it - your relationship with earth's gravity at that moment in time. Yes it's true. Move to the moon or Saturn and your numbers would be completely different. It cannot tell you whether you've been bad or good, naughty or nice. It cannot tell you your percentage body fat or other composition. It cannot tell you whether you are healthy or not. Republican or Democrat or Whig.
It's just a weight scale.
So, step on it if you want to. Daily if you'd like - it won't hurt you - but remember, where you are in life and how you are doing healthwise, require more subtle means to discern.6 -

Try a weight trend app such as Libra for Android. I weigh every day but each weight is just a data point in my overall trend so it doesn't have as much emotional impact for me as comparing today's weight to yesterday's had before I started using the trending program. The important part is the overall weight trend over months.
Here's a recent trend for me where I was at or below my calorie goal every day:

I had to move my scale from the bathroom because I was tempted to weigh myself every time I went in there. Now that I don't see it as often, I don't think as much about weighing myself. Out of sight, out of mind.1

Why is it wrong to be obsessed with the scale? It's not. You have to accept yourself. If constantly hopping on the scale keeps you focused then there's no harm in it. You're making yourself crazy over nothing A lot of us weigh every morning like that.0

I second an averaging app -- Libra for Android or Happy Scale for iOS. Makes a huge difference to me -- now I'm collecting data instead of being obsessive1

Thank goodness I found Happy Scale thanks to a post on these boards. I also get scale obsessed, and it helps me to see the overall picture.0
