Hello all,
Quick question for the group. I'm not sure how to track exercise. I work out with a trainer for 45 minutes, 3 times a week. 2 sessions are in the gym with a combination of treadmill and strength training. The 3rd session is in the pool. Can some please explain. Thanks.

To log exercise with calorie burn guesstimates - use cardiovascular. Circuit training would be a combination of cardio & strength. Other exercises are in there, look for generic types.
Another approach is TDEE less a cut for weight loss. MFP gives you a calorie goal before exercise, TDEE (total daily energy expenditure) would include exercise. TDEE would prevent you from having to log exercise, a good method when exercise is consistent. http://scoobysworkshop.com/calorie-calculator/1 -
