My margaritas from Friday and cookout treats (ice cream, brownie and wine) caught up with me. I'm only 0.4 down from my starting weight, but my average weight is 1.3 lbs down, which is okay, but not exactly in line with my 8 lb goal...
Back on track today! I have company coming into town next weekend, so I need to be really good during the week to offset any we can damage.

My weight this week has been stubbornly up. I guess last weekend did more damage than I realized. It may also be related to water retention (TOM) and stress. My husband is traveling for work, and doing all of the parenting duties alongside work (which has been stressful lately) has been stressing me out a bit. He gets home on Friday-- but so does a friend from out of town, so I imagine drinking/snacking will ensue...
Anyways, I'm going to try and cut my cals and start throwing in a little exercise after my son goes to bed. Hoping that will help to get back on track.

I stayed at a lower cal goal yesterday and cleaned the house (not real "exercise" so to speak, but better than nothing) after my son went to bed, and I'm pleased with the result. Back on my downward trend, thank goodness. It won't be my best week since my first few days weren't great, but better than nothing!

Edited to add my first weigh in results from last night, 2lb loss, not a bad start I suppose!!
Weighed in last night and super happy with my results, another 3.5lbs off, so that's over the 5lbs for the month already. Hopefully I can drop say another 3lbs before the end of May.1 -

More weekend mayhem -- I didn't even weigh myself Sat/Sun... All I know is that it is Monday and I am 141.3 -- Ugh!
Hoping it's mostly water weight from having sugary cocktails. I am cutting my carbs and starting a workout program ASAP! Luckily we don't have anymore weekend visitors planned for the remainder of the month. I am thinking to to plan on losing 2 more lbs each of the two remaining weeks in May -- So I am changing my official goal from 8 lbs to 5. I know I can do this, I just have to stop letting the weekend mess me up.
Well done to everyone who has managed to stay on the straight and narrow!
