I get hit on when I call businesses on the phone. It's so funny because I'm old enough to be their mother sometimes.

    Sadly now I'm in my 40s I don't tend to get hit on anymore. In fact, when I meet young men I think to myself 'I hope my son does/does not turn out like that person'.

    I got hit on today by two guys who were 18. I'm exactly both their ages combined. I felt like an old creepy cougar.

    My sons friends hit on me (they're 20 - 22yo) one of them even asked me for a picture of boobs for his birthday. They mean it in harmless fun though, not creepy - and I think it's more to wind my son up as boys do. I do get more attention now that I'm 90lbs lighter, and dress more feminine. It's just a fact of life. Men will relate to an "attractive" confident, nicely dressed woman with much more attention and interest than they will a woman who's 100lb overweight, trying to look invisible and dressed like a frump.

    I don't know. I've got a flirty coworker but I think it's just that she's flirty.

    I responded in the other thread and I said that I do get hit on and I generally only mind if the guy isn't attractive to me - I realize that's unfair but that's normally how it goes.

    The best "over the phone" one though for me was when I worked at a call centre (for a gas an electric company) and in the middle of the phone call he told me that he was going to Paris for a wedding and could I please be his date because I sounded cute.

    That one just made me laugh.

    Begrudgingly, I have to agree with the bolded. Quite honestly I wouldn't want some ugly or fat women hitting on me either. It is what it is....looks matter.
