Leslie Sansone was the first exercise that I felt I would do on a consistent basis. But credit for my weight loss comes down eating less. If I'm not managing my portions it's easy to overeat.
Here's a link to a Leslie group - there's a new walk challenge every month

Hello sonotech03,
I found a Leslie video (yes, video, waaaay back in the day) and lost 25 lbs doing that workout and watching what I ate. I have quite a few of her workouts now. I've lost and gained over the years but when I workout consistently and count calories, I lose weight.
Another good walking instructor is Jessica Smith. There are a lot of her workouts on youtube. Fun and effective.
It's also good to be doing some kind of strength workout as well as aerobics. Whether it's just using your body weight or using dumb bells, bands or machines you want to be strong all your life, with strong bones and the good news is you continue to burn calories long after a strength workout-so it's all good. Aerobic exercise will keep your cardiovascular system strong and it will burn calories, but it should not be the only thing you do.
Sorry, I've probably gone way beyond your question. Short answer. Yes. Leslie'w workouts are safe and effective. There is a Group here called Leslie Sansone Walk Walk At Home. Have a look under the community tab the click groups.
HTH,
Ann

Yes....I lost around 15lbs walking with Leslie when I first started my journey. She was helpful and motivating especially when you don't want to exercise. Lol
