My August Goals:

Drink at LEAST 9-10 glasses of water a day.
No alcohol during the week and limited on weekends.
Cut breads, pastas, brown rice etc down to 1-2x a week.
No sweets or junk food.
Eat 5-6 smaller meals a day.
Lose 10 pounds.

If I reach 164 lbs by September I'm rewarding myself with new running shoes. :)

What are YOU wanting to achieve during the month of August?

    lift weights 3 times a week
    drink 8+ glasses of water a day
    5+ servings of fruits and veggies every day
    only have dessert once a week
    eat more protein!
    lose 5 pounds

    my aug goals
    1. drop 10-15 pound
    2. since hubby is out of state.. go veggi only 6 out of 7 days of week..
    3. work out at least 2 hours 4 times a week..
    4.. start zumba classes.
    5. cut back on diet soda.
  • i'd like to lose between 10-15 lbs! i went all summer with maintaining what i've lost (thank God) but i'd still like to lose 23+ lbs if possible. i'm at the smallest i've ever been, and i'd like to be smaller! If I lose the weight I'm going to reward myself with a new HOT dress (just for the heck of it!) and if I lose that much I may need a new wardrobe soon :)

    My goals: drink 10 glasses of water, get down to no breads, pastas, or white anythings, and to start getting to my first real goal of 160 (i'd like to get down to a size 10 at LEAST)

    Try go a weekend without a party that requires I eat CAKE! No joke, it been a rough July.

    go to the beach!!

    - Drink 8 cups of water a day
    - Actually go to the gym on vacation, August 6-13 (I'll be on a cruise, I won't be watching what I eat obviously but I do want to still hit the gym)
    - Work out 15 more minutes a day than I do now
    - Cut out fast food

    I would like to get back on track with food diary since my injury and the meds are now done. I would like to eat slightly under my calorie goal at least 5-6x per week and on the day I may eat or exceed my calorie goal not to exceed by more than 100-200 calories. I would also like to start walking 3x per week (leisurely but to start - it is freaking hot in Florida right now:laugh: ).

    I would like to lose 1 pound by August 1 and then 5 pounds in the month of August.

    July 21 was the start of - Operation: Little Black Dress

    Data: I have a wedding to attend and also to photograph in about 5.5wks

    Goal: I would love to lose another 5-7lbs, hell I would be so stinkin ecstatic if I could lose 10, but I'm trying to be realistic here.

    Plan: Really watch my bad carb intake (ugh, I love them so!) Exercise like a crazy woman shops on a 5 minute shopping spree! Drink water like I am a camel and I'm dying of thirst.

    Well, I can't control how many pounds I drop, or what size I will be by day X. But I can control what I do, sooo...

    1. Eat unprocessed veggies/ fruit every day

    2. 75+ minute cardio, 6 days a week

    3. Weight lifting, 5 days a week

    4. 100+ grams of protein on exercise day (90+ on rest day)

    5. Go swimming more often while it's in season!

    I've been doing 1-4 for a while and have seen satisfactory results. It would be nice if I can get to size S by the end of August, but even if that doesn't happen, I'll be happy knowing that I stayed on the path and made good progress.

    It's never too early!!

    In August I would like to...
    -lose 10 lbs!!
    -get to the gym at least 3 days a week ( I also play on 3 co-ed softball leagues)
    -drink more water
    -and less diet soda!!
    -get back into my size 10/11 jeans!!

    in august i would like to:
    eat 1200 calories/day
    burn off at least 300 calories/day at the gym
    go to the gym at 5 days a week
    stop drinking beers
    eat less carbs
    lose 10 lbs

    I'm going to post my progress periodically throughout the month to help hold myself accountable.
