Trying to eat healthy!

Only on my third day eating healthy and already my sugar/carbs cravings are raging at the door. What are some things I can do/eat to work through these cravings?

I'm no expert when it comes to dieting but have you tried distracting yourself from those cravings with healthy snacks like chex mix or any kinds of nuts, sunflower seeds, etc?

If you are allowed fruit in your diet, I love eating frozen mixed fruit, which consists of pineapples ,strawberries, peaches and mangos. A cup of this delicious fruit is only 70 calories. :)

I have tried nuts and they didn't help knock the sugar/carbs cravings. I will try the fruit today when I have a craving. I was able to keep myself from eating candy yesterday so I think I can do it again!

Maybe instead of taking out everything you enjoy, add in healthier things. I always save room for something sweet.

You can eat what you like. At the end of the day, it's always going to come to calories in VS calories out

I have more of a salt tooth than a sweet tooth, but eating mostly healthy, there are some things on the sweet side I enjoy.

My go-to breakfast involves 1 cup of red seedless grapes (about 185 grams on the scale) with a 6-oz container of double-protein fat-free Greek yogurt and granola bar on top. (The brand I get is Nature Valley; 2 bars in a package, I eat one bar a day.) It's slightly over 300 calories and today's version gave me: 50g carbs, 6g fat, 20g protein 158mg sodium and 7% of my iron RDA (My hemoglobin is borderline and I noticed that I was rarely hitting my iron RDA, so I switched out sugar for iron on my diary page). Nutritional info may vary by variety of granola bar.

I've also started snacking on Quaker Corn Squares cereal. 110 calories per 30 grams.
