    Hi,
I stopped my snacking by making sure my three main meals are big enough to keep me going until the next meal.
If I do start feeling peckish in between meals, I will drink a glass of water and wait for 10 mins as usually you are thirsty and not hungry. If the hunger doesn't go away then I will have something small like a cereal bar or fruit.

For naughty snacks, my worst was always having biscuits with a cup of tea. I find it impossible to drink a tea without a biscuit and then I cant just have one biscuit either. So I have now weened myself off tea altogether to avoid it.

Try plain Greek yogurt mixed with your favourite whey isolate and your choice of strawberries, blueberries, raspberries or all of them.

I eat sugar free jelly pots ther low carb/calorie for my sweet cravings they seem to hit the spot, or have a small pot of nuts and a big glass of water.

What do you have for your regular meals? Try to be deliberately structured with your daily meals and you may have less urge to snack in between.

Have a proper breakfast before going in to work. Plan a healthy lunch when you're off in the middle of the day. Cook a decent dinner after work.

You can either choose especially sweet fruits to snack on (strawberries, grapes, papaya etc.) - which will enable you to get those needed nutrients in - or I would suggest switching to a diet where you have 5 - 6 smaller meals throughout the day instead of 3, which will help to eliminate cravings and is one of the most effective methods to use for weight loss.

I second what Annabel said about the 5-6 smaller meals. I'm on an 1800 calorie day right now and when I began it in March I was really worried about being hungry between meals... and giving in to the various snack foods that my co-workers seem to love to bring in.

My nutritionist helped me structure my day with 5-6 meals/snacks that are between 200-500 calories. I'm rarely hungry anymore in the day... and if I am, I drink some water and rest assured that it's probably getting close to one of my "meal" times.

The hardest discipline of it all was to be mindful in listening to my body's signals... and distinguish if it is legitimate or if my brain's just trying to get me to eat something just for the taste of it. Eating to live vs. living to eat... that mentality is an active battle sometimes... the frequent meal approach is helping, for me

Well... if it happens when you're bored, you could try finding something to do that keeps you from being bored.

I have fruit between meals and its working for me. I also have a cup of chicory with a banana sometimes. As long as it keeps me in my calorie plan, then it's fine. Fruit is usually a low cal snack, it gets me through to the next meal and desire to over munch.

I still snack, I just make it fit my calorie goal, I normally portion stuff out on a Sunday night. I also have my breakfast when I get to work so I don't want to snack too early. I pre-log a day or two ahead and find this helps (I have a meal planner so I know roughly what I will be eating all week except for days when I am out socialising).

My snacks for work days are normally 2 of the below - majority are under 150 calories:
    • Boiled Egg (approx 80 cals)
    • 30g of Dry Roasted or Chilli Nuts (approx 170 cals)
    • Chocolate Protein Bar (approx 170 cals)
    • Cocoa Orange Nakd Bar (145 cals)
    • Hula Hoops (121 cals)
    • 10g of Popcorn (54 cals)
    • Treat Size Crunchie (81 cals)
    • Dairy Milk Thin (100 cals)
    • 2 x Cheese String (120 cals)
    • Babybel Light (60 cals)

I just snack throughout the day. I'm a muncher too. So I have a small breakfast, a small snack, a small lunch, a small snack, maybe another one, and a small dinner. That way I'm always eating. I also drink water before each meal to help me feel fuller

I stopped snacking by eating balanced, good-sized meals spread out throughout the day.

This way of eating keeps me satisfied so I don't need to eat or snack in between meals.

    Good luck!

Lol dont. I need snacka. Snacking is actually very healthy as it keeps your metabolism working. I would suggest to only eat 2 snacks a day. After lunch around 1:30 or 2, eat a granola bar with a cup or 2 of water. Here are some other suggestions: special k cracker chips, popcorners chips, Apple with yogurt, celery with peanut butter, carrot chips (which is just fresh carrots but they are called carrot chips), a cheese stick and some nuts, banana, cucumber, cantolope, grapes, blueberries, pudding and crackers (not snack pack). Just snack healthy. And then at night I eat a snack around 7, usually home made banana ice cream or weight watchers carrot cake rolls, so yummy!! But eat the carrot cake slowly, because it tastes so good! But it's small
