Another week and no movement on the scale...only down 2lbs in the last month. Sooooo incredibly frustrating. Today it seems my motivation is gone. Just hoping I get it back tomorrow.

It hapens keeep going. It my be a good Idea to review your nutrition settings.. You migth have to readjust to lower your calories intake. Or increase your excercise.

However what ever you do dont give up YOU CAN DO IT

Now this is where you have to fight for you. I know things may seem hard right now and so discouaring, but remember anything worth doing or having takes effort, this is no different. So have a hard to hard talk with that mind of your and stay off that scale for a few days.
    S.W 350 my highest 369
    C.W 220
    G.W 150
YOU CAN AND WILL DO THIS!

Try zigzagging your calories and switching up your workouts. Maybe do longer workouts, or bursts of more intense cardio mixed in. Here is a site that sets up a zigzag plan for you: http://www.freedieting.com/tools/calorie_calculator.htm

Those are some things that have worked well for me :)

You can do it!! I have not lost anything since starting the site a second time (2 weeks) and it is driving my crazy! But I also know how much better I feel when I exercise and eat properly. That is what is keeping me going. My husband and I have been doing the same thing (except for I eat a little healthier) and he has lost about 8 lbs! Now that is frustrating! But you have to keep your head up and keep chugging along!

    GOOD LUCK!!

The only way you will completely fail at this is if you stop trying, so don't give up!

Try looking back at what you were eating when you were consistently losing weight. Have you gotten more relaxed with your diet now than before? You could also try eating some new foods, or at different times, or adding small snacks, etc.

Try switching up your exercise. Like if you run, try a workout video. MFP tends to overestimate calories burnt, too, so if you are going by that, then be careful eating all your exercise calories back (if you in fact already do this).

It might be time to modify your calorie intake. Try going into the goals setting and do the guided settings again to adjust to your current weight.

Also, make sure you are following the guidelines MFP sets. Eat the calories it recommends, and trust that the process can work.

I've hit this same roadblock, and used to always give up at this point. Just switch some things up and keep moving forward!

    You CAN do this!!

Thanks all! I'm training for a marathon so maybe I will try increasing my calories just a bit. Didn't log or workout today but I promise to get back on track tomorrow.

cdevine- I totally understand my husband has lost 45 lbs to my 20. Men! It is just not fair!!!!

I've been on a plataeu for about a year!!! It is very frustrating, but the best thing is not to give up - like I did for bit and that's when it starts creeping back on.
Keep at it, you will see results soon, even if you have to be harsh to yourself for a few weeks.

Try experimenting with your calories a bit -- I just broke a 6 week plateau by (gulp!) eating maintenance for a week. I also increased my water intake. I think it was enough to get my body back into losing (although not very motiviating to get me back on track!)

Good luck with the marathon! When's your first one?
