3rd time around and lost 55 pounds after my 4th child

Hi! I had my 4th child on Thanksgiving and gained a lot since I was under weight. I lost it all! I'm about 113! I'm almost 5"6 I really want to be at 110, I just need to do more toning! Any tips for getting a very tone stomach?

Beautiful lady and congrats on your children! I wouldn't focus on the number so much as you're already at a pretty svelte number and 110 is technically underweight. I was once around the same BMI for my height and was just skinny fat. Looking back at my pics I realize how scrawny and unfit I looked even though I had a flat stomach. My suggestion is start strength training or some women have had great results doing kettle bell programs, though I haven't tried the latter yet (but it looks fun!). You will not get bulky, you will just look hotter! Just get over the number though, bcuz your figure will improve but possibly you will weigh more ironically as your body adds muscle and pushes out fat simultaneously (muscle adds weight but takes up less space).

With your stats if you still don't have the "toned" look you are after, the issue is most likely lack of muscle base. You can keep losing weight but without the muscle under you will not have the lean toned look you desire (I was there a few years ago after my first baby). I actually look more toned now 15lbs heavier than I did when I was almost underweight!
I would definitely look into recomposition, you can find a very helpful thread in the maintenance forums. Good luck!0 -
