I've been stuck at the same weight for 2 weeks. I know not that long, but I've been motivated and tracking everything. I've also been going to the gym which I don't eat those calories so it's been hard not seeing any progress on the scale. I've been doing cardio on elliptical and rowing. Any advice and is this normal to level off for a while?

    Yes it's normal.

Are you using a food scale?

Have you updated your calorie needs under goals? (Recommended every 10 pounds lost or so)

It's normal if you don't have a lot to lose or have made some recent changes to your plan (be it exercise or diet)

I also recommend a food scale, so you are not shorting yourself or eating more than you think. I suggest revisiting your calories needs too, especially if you've lost a chunk already as Luna mentioned.

If you have upped your gym time, I find that I also "plateau" every time I do that. My body just holds for a bit and then I see the weight start to go down again. From what I understand that is water weight from muscle repair after tough workouts (so not a true plateau)

Hopefully that helps a bit! Whatever you do, don't give up!!!

I've noticed that I tend to lose for about a week or two and then hold steady for a week. What I've found that works for me is to do what I call a crazy day. After I post this, and I'm hesitant to post because I know I'm going to get serious backlash on this, you know, I'm not going to post.

It's normal, don't allow it to discourage you from your goal. Good luck.

    Message me, if you want.

I do use a food scale and have updated my calorie needs. A friend of mine gave me some advice and said to pay more attention to macro nutrients so I will try that. Thank you for your quick replies and I hope this is just a plateu. I'm not giving up I've never been so motivated.

For me I drop like 5-10 fast then after that it stalls for a little before it starts moving again.
