Good workout routine?

I am overweight and out of shape but am trying to improve by walking and doing a small exercise routine almost every day. Now I am looking for a good, easy start for a better workout, maybe with stretching and a short cardio routine. Something that is 15-30 minutes long and can be easy to start but can get more difficult as I get in shape (hopefully). Just to explain my ability level, I will put it in the words of a physical therapist who treated me for leg pain. He said that I have "very little flexibility" in my movements. So where some people can stretch and reach and bend significantly, my flexibility is much lower. Obviously, I'd like to improve that as well with my workouts.
Thanks for any suggestions or help!

Walking workouts are a great place to start for cardio - https://www.youtube.com/user/walkathomemedia
Jessica Smith - Flexibility Training: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1EBhxreiSHQ
Denise Austin has a few stretching/yoga workouts on BeFit: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1nKrxZ3rk6w
Beginner Yoga - Yoga with Adriene has several beginner workouts. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v7AYKMP6rOE&list=PLui6Eyny-UzzWwB4h9y7jAzLbeuCUczAl
Do your cardio first......warm everything up. Then stretching at the end.2 -
Like someone already mentioned JessicaSmithTv has great beginner to advance workouts. You can start with walking workouts and slowly move your way up.1

Yes, JessicaSmith looks perfect. I did that one routine today and I'll be adding that to my regular workout. Thank you for the suggestions! Though I was doing it in the order wrong. I always thought stretching went first.0

Look up beginner workouts on YouTube and try different ones. I loved kick boxing and it was something I could do in the beginning. I am sure I looked ridiculous and I could barely kick and couldnt move as fast so I didnt do as many reps, but it was FUN and the more I did it, the better I got. If walking is your thing, then great! I hate walking so I tried different stuff until I found something I enjoyed.1

Thanks everyone. I found a good YouTube low impact cardio workout that seems to be great for my level of fitness. It was just the right length and explained how to tailor the workouts to either go easier or to push little more. I worked up a sweat, got my heart pumping and was not too sore or exhausted at the end. It's at:

Now I just have to stick with it at least once or twice a day!1 -

Could you talk to the therapist and find out what little flexibility means and specific movements you should target. General flexibility routines are okay but would be much better if you had something more tailored to you personally.1 -

Thanks for the suggestion! I might do that, but's been a while since I was a patient. I personally can feel the tightness in almost every muscle - and of course the older I have gotten, it hasn't gotten any better.0
