Connecting Fitbit

Hey up anyone help me to connect my Fitbit charge 2

    My wife got one last week and we couldn't connect it to her Windows phone. After doing some research, her phone's OS was an earlier version and wasn't compatible with the Charge 2. We had to connect her fitbit using her laptop and the online program that we downloaded from the Fitbit site.
