Love my 6 fl oz!!! Try to plan for it within my calories several times a week. But is it a wise choice?

Does it fit in your eating plan? If so, enjoy!0

If it fits your calories there is nothing wrong with it (or any other food or beverage for that matter).0

What do you mean by "wise choice"? As other posters said, if it fits your calories, go for it! Enjoy!!
As far as other considerations are concerned, it's just your personal preference. I love wine, but I've found myself cutting back during the week on days when I workout, even when there's room in my budget. I started noticing that I just slept better if I skipped my wine in favor of seltzer or plain water instead. I have some friends who can feel a huge difference in performance the next day if they don't drink the night before, even if it is the difference of only a serving or two of booze (not hangover territory). It might be worth experimenting to see what works best for you. Lately (unless I have friends visiting out of town who want to go wine tasting), I general log 300 calories for wine on each of Friday and Saturday nights (which covers a full bottle), and then have a glass here or there throughout the weekend whenever I feel like it, and there's often some leftover for Monday evening as well if I'm in the mood for it.
Life's too short to deny ourselves good wine .2 -
Why wouldn't it be a wise choice? The only way it's not a wise choice is if you're an alcoholic. Then I 'd say no, it's not a wise choice.
Red wine is good for you in moderation, and it's good for the soul. Enjoy.1 -
