What's your favorite lure right now? What new techniques have you learned or want to learn?

I'm currently stuck on drop shot, but keep struggling with the big girls throwing the hook on me. Unsure if I'm not doing a proper reel set or if I'm not tying the hook correctly. The hook is perpendicular to the line and stands with the hook facing up, but after a couple of casts the hook basically ends up parallel to line.

Anywhoo...went out this past Friday and only took a whopper plopper as my only lure outside of the drop shot. HAD A BLAST.
