SO I'm just shy of 63, started a 50lb in a year journey 3 months ago, and am down 19lb. There's no magic, but it's doable. Aiming at 1lb per week, exercising contently but not enormously (for me it's 10,000+steps. I plan to add weights when I hit a plateau, which everyone does). Tracking what I eat -- 1500 calories per day. More fiber, less carbs. Plenty of water -- 8 glasses a day. Hydration is vital .All that to say -- you got this. You can do this. Small steps and small goals will add up to big successes. Congratulations on your future you.

    Hi Carol,
I am with you. I am 66 and need to loose 100 lbs too. I started 12 days ago and I feel so much better. We can do this!

The time will pass whether or not you make the effort to lose, so accolades for making use of your time. Don't focus on the end goal, but on today. Celebrate every success, like starting this journey and coming here for support!
