    The side effects, cost and the fact that it's only for short term use scream STAY AWAY. MFP is free, simple, can teach you how many calories you need to eat to lose and maintain your weight and doesn't have any nasty side effects.

    apparently it works out at about $3 per pill.

    Is that preferable to being able to calorie count for free? If the appeal is the appetite suppressant side, you're better off filing up with proteins and fats in your meals.
