Hi everyone! I'm a current uni student and finally signed up for the gym nearby but finding it hard to see results in my body.
I've had flabby thighs and legs for my entire life and haven't seen any direct results. Even though I have had some control in my diet and lost around 8 pounds the past semester, I have not been seeing any results.
My friends and family have seen that I've lost weight in other areas but I'm losing hope in ever having thin or toned legs.
This has been hard as I can see little results in the upper half of my body (size 8/10) but my lower body is not unproportionally a lot larger (size 14).
I'm wondering if I have been doing anything wrong or there is a specific way of working out I should try?
Thanks in advance! I've never really reached out about my body issues but would like to be healthier overall.

Ive been working out for almost 5 years and still have flabby areas.for some of us genetics play a part when it comes to how we are built and things like cellulite.also it takes time to see results depending on how much fat you have and if you have a decent amount of muscle underneath. to get toned legs you have to have a decent amount of muscle underneath and lose the fat covering the muscle. takes time to build muscle and lose fat,its even harder to do both at the same time

Women often lose lower body fat more slowly than upper body fat. Just need to keep working at it0

As mentioned, strength training is where it's at.. also how much muscle you have and genetics will come into play. I had to build muscle in my legs to finally get defined legs, they still carry some fat but it is sooo much better now.0
