SO due to orthodontia bands eating anything solider than a noodle is way to hard and annoying... SO was wondering if you all didn't have some smoothie ideas?
Thanks

1 cup almond milk
1 cup blueberries (or any berry)
1/2 cup raw oats
a tiny bit of stevia
Yum, yum. I add vegan protein powder but you don't have to.0 -
Start with banana. You can add anything from there: Strawberries, mangoes, blueberries, cantaloupe, peanut butter, chocolate syrup. I also like to add a little bit of greek yogurt in mine. It makes it tart.0

I am a smoothie fanatic!
I do 1 cup dannon lite n fit vanilla yogurt
1/2 cup very vanilla soy milk
5ish ice cubes
whatever fruit I happen to have laying around.
Just throw it all into a blender and blend until smooth!
my favorite fruit combos are mango/raspberry, banana, strawberry banana, blackberry banana, and mixed berry with raspberries, blueberries, and blackberries.
I have at least 3 or 4 per week as a meal and its about 300-350 calories depending what I use. Enjoy!0 -
I love smoothies! I was so unsure of what ingredients to use at first but through trial and error I've learned to love them!
Some of my favorite ingredients...frozen strawberries, bananas, and pineapple, greek yogurt, fat free milk, peanut butter, instant coffee crystals (you could freeze coffee into cubes too), orange juice, oranges...yum!!
(I don't care for blackberries or mango as they don't blend well)0 -
I like to go to walmart and buy the big bag of frozen fruit pieces and put them in a blender with about 1/2 cup milk and 1/2 cup orange juice....mmm....mmmm....good0

1 cup strawberries
1 banana
2 cups ice
1 cup yogurt
1 packet sweetner
I subbed in the cup of yogurt for 1/2 cup milk + 1/2 cup yogurt. And I added some bran but it got a little soggy and lumpy. It's a pretty good smoothie that makes a lot, and only around 150-200 calories.0 -
I love the banana protein shake with frozen blueberries it add up to 370 calories. 1 banana 1 cup of milk, smoothie mix banana frozen bluberries 10 pieces of ice.... 1 scoop of protein0

I really like to experiment and just throw frozen fruit in with vanilla yogurt in the blender. One of my favorites:
1 cup vanilla yogurt (any brand will do, I usually get a tub of the Dannon Light & Fit)
1/2 cup orange juice
1/2 cup frozen pineapple
1/2 cup frozen strawberries
(i don't typically measure the fruit though, just throw a bunch in) VOILA! deliciousness.0 -
(I don't care for blackberries or mango as they don't blend well)
Try frozen. Frozen mango works wonderfully in a blender.0 -
8oz Almond milk
chocolate protein<i use muscle milk peanut butter chocolate, yummmm!!
half a frozen banana
Ice (enough to make it thick)
makes a delicious healthy chocolate shake!!!0 -
I have a protein smoothie everyday. 1.5 scoop of chocolate whey protein powder, 1/2 cup of blueberries, 1/2 cup of soy milk, 1/2 cup of water and ice if you want. Then blend. It's delicious to me!!0
