Type 2 diabetes,, hypothyroid, 256 lbs, any advice for lower carb diet. Also food allergies, mostly fruits which makes things difficult.

Do you have any particular habits you are trying to change? I had success doing a whole30 that helped me rest my eating habits and discover my triggers as well as foods that don't make me feel well. Have been doing low carb (very little grains or sugar) since then fairly easily. For me, getting everything out of my system and then reintroducing foods slowly really helped me understand the effect food has on me.0

Go with a keto diet. Fruits have natural sugar that isn't good for us with diabetes anyway. I'm in a couple of facebook groups that have to do with type 2 diabetes and eating keto. They are awesome.0
