I celebrated by having a full bowl of cereal and milk for breakfast. Now what folks? Do I just switch to maintenance?

Yes, I would transition slowly to maintenance calories. Maybe 100 extra per week to avoid gain on the scale.

I guess the biggest thing for me was just persistence and not worrying about losing. The calorie deficit works. It takes time, more time than we want, but it works. I am going to increase calories slowly.6

I have been keeping a 5-600 calorie deficit for 4 months. Thanks for the positive reinforcement. I am allowing myself 2 glasses of wine about 180 calories) as my extra in celebration today. I will be posting my new thinner picture soon. The one I have is before my weight loss.0
