Hi from down under - 57 yr old with heart condition that concerns my Cardiologist, he wants me to strip off 26 lbs

Welcome, I'm sure you'll be successful, just weigh everything you eat & log it. My hubby developed a heart condition & stopped going to the gym but he's doing good.0

Welcome to the site. The most important thing is to work with your cardiologist as far as the physical activity that you could do. Also you need to find out if you have any dietary restrictions due to your heart condition. Please whatever you do don't take any advice from the people on this site they may have good intentions but their advice may be harmful to you.
As far as weight loss it's just a matter of eating less calories than your body consumes you don't have to exercise to lose weight. It's just a matter of calories in vs. calories out. The exercise has additional benefits which should include spiritual mental and physical.0
